There is plenty to see and do when on holiday in the area, and we're just 91km from the Melbourne CBD.

Lang Lang town centre is a short hop north at 8Km away, where you will find a pharmacy, the local IGA supermarket, bakery, pizza, fish & chips, cafes, the post office and Howler Brewing Company. Grantville town centre, 15km away south, hosts a FoodWorks supermarket, pharmacy, several cafes, newsagent, and petrol.

SHORT TRIPS

The quaint village of Loch (20km) the main street complete with a number of coffee shops, gift shops, gin distillery, brewery and an excellent children's playground in a grassy reserve.

Maru Koala and Animal Park (19km) is a family run attraction where you can see koalas, wombats, crocodiles, kangaroos, Australian birds, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, dingos, emus and even more! This wonderful animal park is paired with the exciting Pirate Pete’s Mini-Golf.


Coal Creek Community Park and Museum (38km) is a recreated coal mining village that depicts the history of Korumburra; from everyday life, the coalfields and the early agricultural development of the area. Immerse yourself in 1870s – 1920s rural life

 

CHEESE TASTINGS

Bassine Specialty Cheeses have a cafe open every day in the summer. Head there for amazing hand made cheese, farm milkshakes or a glass of local wine with your platter.

CYCLING

The Bass Hills are close by and have the most amazing scenic rides you will find anywhere. Park at The Gurdies or Grantville and head into the hills.

PHILLIP ISLAND

Phillip Island offers visitors the chance to see incredible Australian wildlife amongst spectacular landscapes. The Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and Nobbies Centre are just a few of the island's unique attractions.
